Who we are
Step into my workshop and let me tell you about my process and who I am. I work out of my parents' tool shed and garage, using workbenches where I hand-clamp every piece of wood. I use three simple but essential tools to get these carvings to your doorstep.
I start by creating a custom template for the fish, tracing it onto paper from my computer or iPad. Once the design is ready, I transfer it onto a sheet of wood. Then comes the fun part: I use my jigsaw to hand-cut the silhouette. After that, I sand the wood until it feels smooth and high-quality in your hands. The final and most important step is using my wood-burning tool to replicate the exact spots and markings from the photo of your catch. Finally, I apply a few coats of stain, and she’s done!
I’m also an avid fisherman, and I’m guessing you are, too. I’m all over the place—from fly fishing in the Neuse to catching trout and reds in the Pamlico. I mostly fish the Triangle area in my jon boat for just about anything I can get my hands on.

The two most important things I need to bring your catch to life are accurate measurements and high-quality photos. To get started, please email me the length of the fish and a clear picture so I can replicate the exact markings and spots for you.
